EXCLUSIVE! IS THE ‘EAST AFRICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL’ A SCAM?

The 2-day camping event which is apparently organised by EA events Inc is scheduled to start on February 14th to 16th at the Ngong Race Course featuring 80 East African artists and international artists like Young Thug, Lil Uzi-vert and Mavado.

As of today, there hasn’t been any official communication from the organizers on whether the event will actually happen or it’s just a high quality rumour, even though Kenyans have already started buying tickets.

Efforts to reach the organisers through all their contacts proved futile as they could not reply to emails, calls and DMs.

Speaking to the ticketing company handling the event, they told us that they are also in the dark and were supposed to meet with the organisers on Monday 6th to see contracts of the mentioned artistes but that also did not happen.

It’s now almost a month to the event and the only hype about this event is on their social platforms. Could this another Fyre Festival?

The cheapest tickets to this event goes for 2,500 which gets you an Early Bird General Admission Ticket and 10,000 for Early Bird VIP Ticket.
